    What We Are Looking For

     

    The market intelligence specialist will develop knowledge networks and work with regional business development teams, the worldwide market intelligence unit, and supporting departments to inform and improve our go to market strategies by using and refining intelligence methodology and strategic analysis frameworks of primary and secondary data. Connect by investing in understanding the market and competitive intelligence needs of internal stakeholders and develop ongoing processes for bringing new insights to share with the business. Shape by finding ways to challenge the status quo and how things have been done to bring new ideas or innovations to bear on existing efforts. Lead by providing and presenting new market insights to all levels of management based on primary and secondary analysis of data. Deliver by implementing efficient processes to capture and analyze market intelligence data while acting with a sense of urgency to deliver critical reports and analyses both proactively and on-demand.

    Qualifications

    What will you be doing?  

    • Manage the creation and implementation of market intelligence supporting executive decision-making, the identification of emerging opportunities and threats, and monitoring competitors, potential partners, prospects, and consumers
    • Provide analytical, project, systems and data support by creating and distributing numerous tactical and strategic market intelligence reports based on primary and secondary sources of information to inform short-term and long-term business decisions, goals, plans, and outcomes
    • Implement outbound lead generation initiatives by identifying and prioritizing the companies to approach in the serviceable market space and reporting on the primary intelligence initiatives pioneered within Salesforce
    • Routinely interface with regional sales managers and other stakeholders by sourcing and analyzing business and market data in scheduled and ad-hoc meetings to make fact-based recommendations to optimize the Nicopure go-to-market strategy
    • Contribute to the development of cost impact models to support the value proposition of the organization by routinely reviewing all components of the marketing mix such as product offering and pricing on a territory by territory basis to support purpose-driven learning
    • Recommend changes to go to market strategies by assessing all-source intelligence based on ground rules and working principles reflecting the organization’s values and mission to enable the organization to capitalize on novel opportunities, mitigate risks from emerging threats, and drive dominant market share
    • Verify accuracy and reliability of data and recommend corrections or adjustments in the collection, assessment, and dissemination of intelligence

    Basic Qualifications:

    • BA/BS in mathematics, economics, finance, marketing, the social sciences, or adjacent disciplines with at least one full-time internship lasting one semester or longer
    • Business acumen developed by a proven track record of developing actionable market intelligence
    • A structured approach to ambiguous data, comfortable working with large unstructured sources of information to accurately discover trends and inform go-to-market strategies
    • High level of computer literacy and presentation skills; advanced knowledge of Excel and CRM tools
    • Advanced proficiency in systems thinking to see and communicate how all the dynamic moving pieces fit together to inform market strategy
    • Strong project management skills, able to manage complexity and deliver critical projects
    • Ability to reduce uncertainty by proposing a methodology to solve problems when the consumers of the research may not know precisely what they are looking for themselves
    • Ability to cultivate knowledge networks by partnering with cross-functional teams supporting strategic sales growth
    • B2B Consumer Goods, Management Consulting, Manufacturing, or Market Research Firm experience a big plus
    • Salesforce.com Admin certification a big plus
