    Territory Sales Representative– Tampa, FL 

    What are we looking for?

    A results driven Territory Sales Representative to join our new Tampa, FL office.  The Inside Sales Representative will establish and manage accounts via phone, CRM, and email.  The preferred candidate will have prior sales account management experience. Tobacco industry experience is a huge plus.  Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM program(s), Outlook, invoicing and social media utilization.  Records management will consist of CRM Management, call reporting, sales quotes, the collection of receivables and more.

    Responsibilities

    What else will you be doing?

    • An Inside sales business builder within the territory using a variety of sales techniques
    • Targeting potential customers and assessing opportunities for sales
    • Cold calling companies within the territory and establishing needs while managing an existing book of business
    • Putting together a list of target companies within the area
    • Analyzing competitor activities in the region and assessing opportunities for business development to reach goal targets
    • Working to revenue targets and KPI’s as set by the sales director
    • Networking through social media with businesses in the territory and building relationships
    • Working closely with other territory sales manager’s
    • Putting together sales strategies to target large-scale accounts.
    • Keeping up to date with industry news to identify opportunities for new business
    • Maintain timely and accurate account documentation in Salesforce.com
    • Participate in selected industry activities and trade shows which may require travel outside of sales territory
    • Take ownership of creating exceptional value in every interaction
    • Perform other duties as required/assigned

    Qualifications

    Who is the ideal candidate?

    • Minimum 5 years of insides sales experience, and a proven pattern of past success in sales as a mature member of the team as an A Player
    • Ability to learn quickly and share that knowledge with a positive attitude
    • Ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with prospects, customers, and co-workers
    • A clear sense of integrity, work ethic and a sincere interest in building strong relationships based upon competency and trust
    • Computer Literacy: Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce.com or similar CRM
    • Ability to carry out duties and responsibilities with speed and without supervision due to high levels of accountability
